Biro was a professional soccer player in Brazil, playing in several Brazilian soccer clubs, like Ituano FC. ES São Bento, CA Atlético de Sorocaba and São Paulo FC.

Played for the U18 Itu Brazil National Team and lead them to world championship at the World Cup in 1993 in the USA.

He had his career interrupted early due to several knee injuries.
